Sweet fennel oil comes from crushed fennel seeds which are a part of the Apiaceae family including carrots or parsley.

It has a slightly spicy smell which resembles aniseed. It can tone and moisturise skin but must be diluted before application as applying it neat could cause an adverse reaction.
